With over three decades of homebuilding in Finland, Jalon Group has built thousands of homes from urban high-rise apartment blocks to leafy townhouses. During that time, Jalon has earned the trust of their clients by committing to quality design, sound construction and exceptional customer service.
Jalon is owned by the Toivakka Companies, a nearly 100-year-old family business founded in 1923 in Mikkeli. Jalon continues the success story of a construction company that has been operating in for more than 30 years under the name JL-Rakentajat Oy.
As the business expanded to the Helsinki Metropolitan Area and Southern Finland in 2018, a new subsidiary Jalon Uusimaa Oy was established, and the name of JL was changed to Jalon Rakentajat Oy. In September 2021, Jalon Rakentajat Oy was spun off as a separate subsidiary alongside Jalon Uusimaa Oy and the parent company Jalon Group Oy was established.
Our company has offices in Helsinki, Jyväskylä, Mikkeli, Kuopio and Joensuu. Jalon directly employs circa 130 people nationally.
